How long have you been with this company?
I have been with lia Sophia since 1995. I started as a fashion advisor, working very part time and treated my business as a hobby. As my team grew, it became necessary to commit myself to my business to continue to grow. I left my job as a RN in 2005 and now I work on my lia sophia career full time, enjoying every minute!

What are the sales quotas?
To remain on our “active” list, you are required to maintain $250 sales each 12 week period.

How do I start with this company?
It is necessary to read and sign our contract and purchase your starter kit. Every situation is different, and as your manager, we would discuss the BEST way for YOU to start! Most ladies start with a “starter show”. We have an EXCELLENT BEGINNINGS program which offers you the opportunity to earn up to an additional $1800 in FREE jewelry products of your choice based on sales/recruiting in your first 15 weeks in business. We would work together to get you off to a strong start.

Every advisor earns 30% commission on their sales. We have a customer “SAVE PLAN” that offers every 3rd highest priced item purchased for ½ price to every customer and an additional monthly special. We earn full commission on every ½ price purchase too! This helps build show sales, most customers take advantage of the “SAVE PLAN“. Our average show sales are over $800, so that is $240 commission per show. Also, managers earn an extra 10% commission on their own shows and the shows of their units. There is also a monthly bonus structure for hitting certain sales levels as a group. Monthly cash bonuses range from $100-$2500 depending on management level. Additional monthly, quarterly, and yearly bonuses are offered to advisor/managers based on personal sales/recruiting.

Are “company websites” available?
Yes. Personal websites are also available for a reasonable fee and they have a full catalog with ordering and advertising capabilities. Company prepares e-marketing monthly and makes it easy to advertise to your clients.

Where am I allowed to sell?
You may sell lia sophia products directly or at home shows. There are NO territories. You may also promote your product using your personal website. We do not sell our products in stores. In fact, lia Sophia has been approached to carry the jewelry line in different stores and they have refused to sell to retail establishments or directly online. All sales leads are sent to advisors in the field by zip code. Home office will NOT sell their product directly except to a registered advisor. This policy protects our business and future business.

Are training tools available?
Yes, part of the kit contains DVD training and a Quick Start training. The home office provides complete online training and offers regularly scheduled online classes. There are also meetings provided and we have Regional Sales Managers that offer support.

There is an annual meeting held by the home office staff for awards, motivation, and additional training.

Am I required to hold home parties?
No, but this method has proven successful with our product.
